Everyone needs help sometimes. When it feels like circumstances and life-pressures are causing you to feel sad, hopeless, stuck, and/or afraid, counseling may help you regain emotional traction and move through the challenges of your life. I believe every person has great internal resources/strengths to uncover or discover solutions for life..I specialize in helping couples/families/individuals improve their relationships and also those who experience anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, self-worth, divorce, blended-families, healing from infidelity, parenting, and many other individual and relationship issues. I work from a variety of theories, including Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Gottman Relationship Therapy.

Often, we apply faulty, learned/conditioned, and unhelpful thinking to our problems. I specialize in helping people to renew their thinking, engage their faith, explore and challenge unproductive beliefs, embrace new behaviors and experience healthy change. Couples repair their injured friendship and may renew their passion. Renewed thinking restores relationships, empowers individuals and cultivates hope.

Struggles in our lives can be misunderstood and we may need help with navigating those struggles to bring more understanding into it and gain a new experience. We will work together to see how that has shaped your life and navigate through the backstory of how you’ve arrived at where you are. Everyone wants to feel connected whether it’s with our families, our closest friends, our work situations, and even church. We will work through these aspects of your life to regain that lost hope. In many cases, we hide our hurts, desires and pains through other means, such as sexual addiction.

For most individuals and families, sexual addiction is a place of shame and isolation. We will develop areas in your life so that change can begin as well as look at how it has impacted yours and your loved one’s lives and look at ways for you and your family to be successful again.

My desire is to reconcile both the individual and the families again to work towards openness, freedom from bondage, and to be able to dream again.
