EASTRIDGE KIDS

Providing an environment where kid can experience God, and seek Him earnestly, serve Him faithfully, and share Him boldly.

Parent Resources

One of the core values of Eastridge Kids is partnering with parents.  We believe that God designed spiritual formation to happen primarily in the home, with the church as a support (Deuteronomy 6).  We understand that being a parent isn’t easy, especially with all the external pressures around today.  So it is our heart to encourage you and to put resources in your hands to help you be the best parent and spiritual leader you can be.  We’ve compiled this page of articles, podcasts, and books that you may find helpful for today’s kids.  The topics are arranged alphabetically by topic.

WEEKEND MINISTRY

Take a trip to Adventure Land where fun and adventure await when you visit us during one of our weekend Worship Celebrations at our two campuses! You’ll find full NURSERY care for children from birth through 36 months, PRESCHOOL programs, and KIDZONE (1st through 5th grade kids), a high-energy program which includes interactive singing, games, drama, video, object lessons, illusions, and more. We also have a Mothers & Infants Suite available at the back of the Issaquah worship center. This room allows an opportunity for moms to still hear and see the weekend services while caring for their young children who may be too squirmy for service.

Missionettes Club is a ministry tool to help fulfill the Titus 2 principle of women mentoring young girls. Each week girls from kindergarten-5th grade meet together in small groups to learn more about God through creative lessons, crafts, games, and working on badges and achievement awards. The girls also participate in special activities throughout the year.  This program ends in June and starts back up in September.

Royal Rangers Club is a mentoring program for future men. We provide Christlike character formation and servant leadership development for boys and young men in a highly relational and fun environment. EASTRIDGE KIDS CORE VALUES

Biblical Truth
At Eastridge Kids we believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God and that kids have the ability to understand and apply it to their lives.  We strive to ensure that all of our lessons, as well as the beliefs of our team, line up with the teachings of the Bible and the person of Jesus Christ.

Relationship
Eastridge Kids understands that every child who walks through our doors is a treasure from God.  Our desire is to meet families where they are at and and to be a place of friendship, refuge, and hope.  Kids want to be where they are loved and valued.

Faith in Action
Our goal at Eastridge Kids is to see spiritual growth that produces fruit.  We believe that when a child has a true encounter with Jesus, their love for him will spill over into action.

Safety
At Eastridge Kids we thing church should be the safest place for your child to be.  From background checks on volunteers, to sanitation, and emergency procedures, we strive to protect children physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Equipping Parents
We believe God designed the family to be the primary place of spiritual development.  As a church, we are dedicated to encouraging and equipping parents as the disciple their children.  We do this through weekly take hime sheets and Bible reading plans, as well as various family events and parenting seminars throughout the year.
