KITCHEN ASSISTANT

The Kitchen Assistant (Porter, or Kitchen Steward), assists other kitchen staff like Cooks, Chefs, Supervisors or Managers. Their primary duties include basic food preparation, assisting kitchen staff as needed, cleaning the kitchen equipment and organizing food and other items in the stockroom. They will support the chef in basic food preparation, receiving of deliveries, and cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment. Previous experience in a commercial kitchen is a plus. CHILDREN’S MINISTRY OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR

The Children’s Ministry Administrator (part-time) is responsible for the week-to-week ministry details as the Personal Assistant to the Lead Children’s Pastor, giving oversight to ministry operations, calendar management, and communication. The successful candidate must be personable, energetic, organized, and methodical regarding work and attention to detail. CHILDREN’S MINISTRY NURSERY & CHILDCARE DIRECTOR

The Nursery & Childcare Director (part-time, 15-20 hours a week) on behalf of the Lead Children’s Pastor, is responsible for the week-to-week management of the Nursery Department, birth to 35 months for Eastridge Church services, and childcare coordination for non-service, Eastridge Church event requests. The successful candidate must be adept to caring for babies, (previous experience an asset), personable, energetic, organized, and methodical regarding work and attention to detail.

NURSERY AND CHILDCARE SUPERVISOR

As a Nursery and Childcare Supervisor in Eastridge Church Children’s Ministry, you will be responsible for overseeing the well-being of young children while their parents attend church services or events. This includes being the Team Lead working with the Director to create a nurturing and engaging environment, preparing the care space, supervising your team and children when on call, maintaining safety and security protocols, and scheduling your team of Nursery volunteers and Childcare Providers. You must also demonstrate strong communication skills with parents and your team, maintain accurate records, and adhere to safety protocols. This is a paid hourly position, up to 10 hours a week. NURSERY VOLUNTEERS

Our nursery attendance is growing, and we are seeking dedicated volunteers to assist with taking care of babies, crawlers and walkers in the Nursery during church services. As a volunteer, you will be an integral part of Children’s Ministry by helping to create a safe and engaging environment for children from birth to 35 months. Effective communication with parents and fellow volunteers is essential, as is adherence to safety protocols. This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals passionate about working with children and serving our church community. Sign up for commitment on a rotational basis. Regular service times to volunteer are Wednesday nights, Saturday 5pm service, Sunday 9am, or Sunday 11am services. CHILDCARE PROVIDERS

We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals 14 years and older to join our paid team of on-demand childcare providers! You’ll be on the roster to provide childcare for age groupings of children birth to K, and/or 6 to 11 years of age during church events outside of our regular services Wednesday nights, Saturday nights and Sunday mornings. Duties include supervising playtime and activities, sharing a biblical lesson/story, maintaining proper hygiene, and communicating effectively with parents and fellow providers. We seek individuals passionate about working with children and serving their church community. This is a paid hourly position with a minimum of two hours when you are scheduled for an event.
