ALPHA (Issaquah & West Seattle)

Alpha is an 11-week series exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is offered at both our Issaquah and West Seattle locations, and everyone is welcome! Learn more here. Course materials: Free.

Do you have a desire to be part of what God is doing at Eastridge but are unsure if you have the right qualifications? Do you desire to learn more about your faith and help others learn about theirs? Do you want to be a part of the vision and to be used by God for greater things? The Adult Leadership Program (ALP) was created for you and those like you who have a desire to do more in the church but don’t have the calling to get a Bible degree or to go into full-time ministry. The purpose of the ALP is to equip lay leaders from within Eastridge for the work of ministry and church leadership through a nine month program, which includes with five classes and diverse ministry exposure.

Join couples in all stages of life as they keep Christ as the center and foundation of their marriages.  Upcoming discussion topics include: Intimacy; Learning and communicating your spouses love language; and Practical ways to overcome struggles.

MEN’S BIBLE STUDY: “Abraham: Following God’s Promise” (Issaquah)

Discover new meaning in the life of Abraham. Dig up the nuggets you might have missed. Discuss questions you’ve never thought to ask. Learn new ways to apply Abraham’s story in your life.

Starts September 18. Wednesdays at 7pm in the Chapel (Issaquah). Dinner available at 6:30pm. Course materials: $15.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY: “Finding God Faithful” by Kelly Minter (Issaquah)

Trace the path of Joseph’s life in the Book of Genesis to observe how God’s sovereignty reigns, even in our darkest moments. Learn to recognize when God is working during periods of waiting, trust God’s plan when life doesn’t make sense, and rest in the sufficiency of His presence in every circumstance. His provision is enough, His presence is constant, and His purpose is unstoppable.

ADULT: “The Reason for God” (West Seattle)

Join us for a light breakfast, coffee and a study on “The Reason for God” by Timothy Keller. Christians will be challenged to wrestle with their friends and neighbors’ hardest questions, and to engage those questions in ways that will spark an honest, enriching, and humbling dialogue. Capture a live and unscripted conversation between Timothy Keller and the six panelists discussing their objections to Christianity.

ADULT BIBLE STUDY: “Battlefield of the Mind​” (West Seattle)

In this study, Joyce Meyer guides you through an honest self-appraisal by sharing the trials, tragedies and ultimate victories of her own marriage, family and ministry. You’ll gain insight into how Joyce won the battle in her own mind, and how you can as well.

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS: Issaquah & West Seattle

Looking to build friendships, study the Bible and have some fun? Join us for a Bible study for young professionals at both the Issaquah and West Seattle campuses! This group is all about creating community and growing in our faith. Whether you’re single, dating or married, this is a great place to connect and grow.

MOM TO MOM: Small Group (Issaquah)

Are you the mother of a child with special needs, or have a friend who is, and are looking for a place to connect with other moms? This new class is for you! This small group for moms of children with special needs and learning differences will focus on conversation that is productive, supportive and encouraging. Led by Cheryl Gingerelli, a licensed Mental Health Counseling Associate and member of Eastridge Church. Learn more about Cheryl here.

Celebrate Recovery is for all of us with hurts, hang-ups and habits. Christ-centered and Bible-based, this ongoing ministry is open to all people looking for a safe place to grow in their relationship with Christ and journey toward deeper healing. Each Celebrate Recovery gathering includes dinner, a time of worship, group teaching and small group discussions.
